Get Proper Support!
Babe, get proper support! I’m not talking about the century old question of to underwire or not to underwire. (however it is an important question and every grown woman should have an informal preference one way or the other).
I want you to get proper support to help YOU with the baby you are about to give birth to.
Remember staring out the window at the nanny who was helping you with your first, feeling rage that she was playing with you newborn on the patio while you are folding laundry inside??? You were right to feel that. That is not what you do.
You’ve heard that it takes a village to raise a child. You choose that village babe. Do not make the mistake of getting a nanny or a babysitter again. Instead, get a mother’s helper. Someone who can be useful while you are pinned down feeding the baby. Someone who will: help with the dishes, laundry. Cook or at the minimum prep dinner. Can draw you a bath, do a grocery store run. Someone who can and will if you need to get out of the house take care of your baby while you run to the store, yoga, massage, facial or whatever that will fill your cup.
You are welcome. You got this!
